Change a tag's color
Pick a color for any tag. It shows on the Tags tab, on tag chips and when you type a #tag.
Every tag gets a color on its own, picked from its name. You can choose a different one.
Change it
Want a color that isn't in the list? Tap "Custom" and pick any color. It saves when you close the picker.
You can also do it from a tag's page. Tap next to the "Due" and "All" switch. "Untagged" has no color to change.
- Open the tab and press and hold a tag.
- Tap "Change Color".
- Tap the color you want. It saves right away and the sheet closes.
Where the color shows
- The dot next to the tag on the Tags tab.
- Tag chips on your thoughts.
- The tag list above the keyboard when you type a
#.
Good to know
- Pick "Automatic" to go back to the color the tag started with.
- Backups keep tag colors. When you import, a tag you already have keeps its own color.
- A tag leaves the list when no thought uses it, and its color goes too. If you add it back later, it starts on "Automatic".
